EMEA Data Specialist
Drive data strategy & governance
- Drive the data strategy and work towards a single set of commercial data that is expanded and trusted by the business at Global, EMEA, Cluster and Country level
- Lead the execution of the data strategy at EMEA and Cluster level to ensure the correct data is collected, connected and governed in a robust way whilst including Global requirements
- Lead the implementation of the data roadmap relative to business needs. Identify and support the building of a 3-year road map of the “how” to improve the way we deliver analytics, reporting and data
- Actively promote the data led decision making mindset in the business. Provide training and assistance to all teams to champion a culture of data-driven decision making
Deliver data quality & connectivity
- Identify and connect the critical data sets required to answer commercial business questions that need answering
- Build integration and analysis of multiple pools of data and insight sources to drive business outcomes and improve customer experience: BI, Chargeback, CRM, Distributor End User data & Research studies
- Create efficiency and effectiveness through a standardised best practice data approach (including golden record) across EMEA and Globally
- Drive the adoption of a focused suite of sales reporting for Sales, Sales Leaders, GM’s, Regional Leadership Team and Marketing
- Work with leadership to ensure the data is robust and complete work to resolve issues and improve data quality
- Identify new sources of data to strengthen the view of commercial insights and sales effectiveness. Implement a roadmap of additions
Deliver visualisation & reporting
- Define and maintain a visualisation strategy and solution, striving to optimise and most effectively convey data to the business
- Identify, prioritise, and implement across the team new and improved ways of working with regard to analytics visualisation, reporting and data e.g. AI and predictive analytics
- Communicate data in a powerful, visual, and user-friendly way whilst measuring adoption and use
- Improve the capability of business stakeholders utilising visualisation tools to enable them to self-serve enhanced analysis and insights
- Gain alignment on tools, reporting and metrics in EMEA and where possible globally. Share and receive best practice.
- Build appropriate dashboards to track progress and results. Using visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce
- Regularly review and seek feedback from key stakeholders on insight and dashboard needs
- Provide weekly and monthly analysis and reports as appropriate
