**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**JOB TITLE**:
Facilities Attendant (Caretaker) - 30 hours per week
**REPORT TO**:
The Centre Manager
**1. JOB PURPOSE**:
*Setting up for room hire bookings
*Cleaning the rooms/corridors/offices/café/bar areas/toilets
*Signing toilet check sheets to say area is clean and tidy
*Occasional small building maintenance as required by the Centre Manager
*Being able to communicate to customers in a clear and concise manner
*Completing of tasks given to you by the management team
*Serving behind Bar and Café
*Attending meetings and mandatory training sessions
**2. ** **COMMUNICATION**:
a. To work in collaboration with the Caretaking Team, Association’s Centre Manager and staff to ensure that effective communication exists.
b. To sustain effective working relationships across the organisation to meet the objectives of the Association.
c. To maintain accurate records to enable the delivery of all information requirements within the scope of the role in a timely fashion.
**3. ** **INFORMATION**:
a. To provide up to date and accurate information as and when requested by management to support the Association’s planning processes.
**4. ** **OTHER**:
a. To participate in staff meetings as reasonably required.
b. To have a good understanding of the Association’s objectives.
c. To attend staff training as reasonably required.
d. To participate in staff rotas as reasonably required.
This is not an exhaustive list of your duties but an overview of your main duties. You are required to be flexible in assisting the Association in the performance of other tasks as it may reasonably require from time to time.
Pay: £11.44 per hour
