Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be working with Nordoff and Robbins Music Therapy to find a Head of Trusts and Foundations. This would be a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Trust Fundraiser/Manager looking for that next step up. You would be using your skills and knowledge to secure and grow sustainable income from charitable trusts, foundations and statutory funders, managing two Trust Officers (remotely) and helping grow income from the charity's trust portfolio in Scotland, England and Wales.

Accountable to: Deputy Director of Fundraising
Locations: Minimum 2 days office based at 2 Lissenden Gardens, London. Maximum 3 days ’Working from Anywhere’.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week. Can be worked flexibly around our core hours of 10-4
Contract Type: Permanent
Annual Leave: 31 days pa plus bank holidays

**Salary**: £40,550 plus £1,500 London Weighting (if applicable)

**Head of Trusts and Foundations**

**What we need**:
The Trust and Foundations (T&F) Team is part of Nordoff and Robbins’ Fundraising Department. We generate vital income from Corporate Partnerships, Events Fundraising and Individual Giving. The fundraising directorate is currently a department of 16 colleagues and growing fast.

The Trusts and Foundations team currently consists of a Fundraising Operations Officer and two Trusts and Foundations Officers. The advertised role will be managed by the Deputy Director of Fundraising.

You will have at least two years’ demonstrable experience of generating income from trusts, foundations and statutory sources.

Extensive experience of developing a Trusts and foundations strategy — identifying risks and opportunities and translating into tangible objectives and work plans.

Don’t worry, you don’t need to be musical, but you do need to be able to work cross
- organisationally with colleagues in all areas of the charity and especially music therapists to help bring awareness of our mission, vision and achievements to the world.

**What we offer**:
A salary of £46,550 (plus £150 0 London Weighting, if applicable) - total salary £48,050 FTE

Flexibility around working arrangements. London-based colleagues currently work a mix of home and office-based hours, with a minimum of one day in our North London Centre
