**Interim Management Accountant**

Are you an experienced Management Accountant working within manufacturing?

Due to a period of growth and projects within the business I am looking to identify an experienced **Management Accountant** who will provide reliable, timely and accurate financial information. This is a critical role in the Finance Department therefore experience operating at this level within a manufacturing business is essential.

If you are a technically strong Accountant looking for an interim opportunity within a fast paced, growing manufacturing business in **Stoke on Trent** then get in touch.

This is an innovative, forward thinking business offering an individual the opportunity to come in and prove themselves on an interim basis whilst the business works through a number of projects, systems implementations and process improvements. For theright individual this could lead to a permanent role.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Preparing the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports.
- Collecting and analysing data, which is then used in the preparation of weekly and monthly estimates.
- Preparing weekly cash flow statements, and controlling expenditure and cash flow.
- Creating KPI reports.
- Balance Sheet reconciliations of all Balance Sheet items on a monthly basis ensuring the prime reconciliations for AP, AR and FA
- Management of accruals, prepayments, journals, intrastat
- Maintaining the Fixed Assets Register
- Dealing with ad hoc queries from the FC and FD as they arise.

**Essential Criteria**
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Proven organisational skills
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
- A motivated team player
- Advanced Excel

**Education/Qualification Requirements**
- Professionally qualified or qualified by experience with manufacturing experience
