**About Us**:
Pelican Engineering is a full MAN Truck and Bus dealership supporting MAN truck and bus operators throughout Yorkshire and the North of England. We operate from purpose-built premises in South Leeds just off Junction 31, M62. We offer full service support 24/7 to MAN truck and bus operators and supply the full range of MAN and Neoplan parts.

We are looking for an experienced **WARRANTY ADMINISTRATOR** with an automotive or transport related background for our MAN facility based on Pope Street, Castleford.

**The Role**:
Working as part of our Team, you will prepare, record and submit warranty claims to the manufacturer and/or distributor and reconcile them accordingly.

In fulfilling this role you will:

- Work in a professional, organised manner, processing warranty claims on a timely basis.
- Process all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and document trail.
- File and maintain all service and vehicle records as required by the warrantor to ensure warranty is maintained.
- Keep yourself up to date on any factory recalls and other relevant information.
- Be responsible for verifying warranty criteria required by manufacturer or distributor.
- Reconcile all warranty receivables and credits, working with accounts in the recording of these,
- Resubmit any rejected claims promptly or obtain authorisation to write-off.
- Track warranty parts following our in-house system and processes.
- Facilitate delivery of warranty parts to our premises, managing tracking or distribution.
- Assist with any other necessary admin duties in working with your team.

**Essential skills required**:

- The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, specifications, O&M Manuals etc.
- Great customer service skills in a professional manner.
- The ability to use mathematics in the role in calculating financials related to warranty claims.
- Microsoft Office skills including Excel

**Hours of Work**:

- Full time and permanent Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
- Hours between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday
- Occasional Saturdays may be required 8am to 12pm

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
