**Tempting Recruitment **are working on behalf of our client, a
**local authority **in the
**East of England region**, to recruit experienced
**Information Officer. **If you are looking to increase your earnings for the year,

**Contract: 3-6 months (possible extension)**

**Salary: £17.64 p/h umbrella**

**Start Date: ASAP**

**Shift Pattern: 28 hours per week /**
**Monday - Friday / 9am-5pm***

**HYBRID WORKING AVAILABLE
**DUTIES**
- Assist in the development, operation, and maintenance of IT systems to store, retrieve, and provide grants information, financial data, and statistics.
- Maintain an up-to-date electronic filing system ensuring documents are filed quickly and appropriately. Ensure documents are deleted in line with the Council’s data retention policy.
- Make payments to groups.
- Assist with proof reading of Committee reports.
- Support work on developing a digital grant platform

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
- At least 2 years’ experience within an Information Officer role or equivalent.
- Developing, operating, and maintaining administrative systems.
- Collecting, organising, and recording information via computerised systems.
- Computer skills - Microsoft 365(Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Edge).
- Ability to work with a wide range of people, and organisations.
