We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of **Maintenance Person** to join our AMAZING team here at **M&A Management** based at our **Beeches Care Home** in central **Chorley.**

**Hours**: Working 37.5 hours a week 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

**Pay**: £11.50 an hour

We were established in 1994 and class ourselves experts in dementia care. We have 3 care homes, based in Chester, Wigan and Chorley. We offer permanent Residential, Nursing and Dementia Care services. Respite care is available for people who need a period of recuperation, or to allow whoever is usually providing care to take a break.

**The role**:
M&A Management is looking for that special someone who will take pride in the properties they help to maintain. You will be initially based at Beeches Care Home Chorley but will be expected to attend one of our sister homes based in Wigan one day a week. We expect this role to incorporate Health and Safety oversight and compliance whilst also supervising and supporting our current maintenance team and attending emergencies as required.

**Your experience**

You will have at least one years experience in general maintenance tasks and basic repairs including electrical, plumbing, joinery and building tasks and decorating of rooms to maintain the standards of the home. You’ll be responsible for key tasks such as the maintenance of heating and lighting, the overall fabric of the building, regular checks on the boiler and water systems and completing all relevant health and safety checks.

This is a special role because it gives you the chance to make a difference to our tenants and residents' lives every day. From helping residents hang pictures in their rooms, moving furniture, collecting prescriptions or assisting the care team to decorate the home for special occasions, this is a role where you can demonstrate your natural values of being Proud, Supportive and Caring.

**This Post will Require**
