Do you want to be working within a luxury care provider? Evermore Care are currently looking for someone to join the Maintenance team within a BRAND NEW service based within Chorley, Lancashire. This is a full time permanent position with Monday - Friday, 9-5 hours and offering an hourly rate of £11.58.

Here at Evermore Care the safety of our staff, residents and visitors to the home is really important to us and we are looking for someone to join the maintenance team who shares that passion. We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and experience and knowledge of working within building maintenance, ideally in a similar setting. Within the role you will preform regular checks, carry out repairs and be confident doing regular fire, basic electrical and appliance checks. We are looking for someone who cares for this stunning service and wants to keep the grounds looing tidy as well as keeping on top of general decoration work

Astley View will be a state-of-the-art new care home in Chorley, Lancashire. This 90 bedded service offers the very best in personal, dementia, and respite care split over three floors. Within Astley View each room is decorated to a high standard offering the very best fixtures and fitting including video calling facilities and stylish furnishings. This luxury services also offers residents a wide range of varied activities as well as its own beauty salon, ice cream parlor and cinema room

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Have general knowledge and understanding of maintenance from minor electrical, plumbing and joinery work
- Ideally have experience working within a similar environment
- Have a good understanding of central heating systems, laundry equipment and hot and cold-water systems

**MAIN RESPONSIBLITIES**:

- You will carry out the day to day maintenance on the fabric of the building, its services and grounds in order to ensure the care home is maintained in a safe and efficient functional order
- To comply with the Health and Safety and Fire Regulations, and to ensure that staff within the home also comply with these regulations
- Adhering to professional standards, following Company policies and procedures and the regulatory requirements provided by the Care Quality Commissioning Group
