Arden College is currently recruiting for Senior Residential Support Workers now We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our support team.

In this role, you will support our young people and be responsible for providing compassionate care during your time with them. This role also involves supporting the Registered Manager to run a successful staff team and to oversee the day-to-day operation of the home.

Arden College is situated in the heart of Southport, a vibrant and cultured town on the West coast of Lancashire. The college makes the most of its position and much of the extended college curriculum is located within the community and vocational settings within the region. The college is a specialist college for students aged 16 to 25 years with complex learning difficulties, autism and challenging behaviour. Individual programmes of day or residential support are available as 38- or 52-week placements. Our aim is to ensure that learners are prepared for independent adult life, including independence, good physical and mental health, friendships and relationships and employment if appropriate.

A relevant Level 3 qualification is essential, as well as previous experience within a residential childcare setting.
