Overview / Responsibilities:
**Project Coordinator**
Wood Process and Energy is recruiting for a
**Project Coordinator** to support the project engineering team in the coordination, interfacing and delivery of projects. This role will be based in Glasgow's office.
You will be responsible for ensuring that scope is defined and understood, schedule is adhered to, cost/budget targets are met and for managing safety and risk. An appreciation of the technical/functional area being managed and an awareness of the business issues is required but will be developed on the job with support from the team.
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Project Delivery**
- Minutes progress/site/closeout meetings as appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members
- Manages action trackers, TQ and RFI registers checking on action closure with both Wood and Client.
- Manages capturing of lessons learned
- Assists PE to monitor project plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures
- Assists with minuting of reviews and reports for project progress in support of Project Engineer/Manager.
- Assists with kick-off meetings and work initiation processes
- Assists in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, tenders, budgets, cash flow, plans, procedures, and preliminary schedules
- Prepares project organization charts
- Effectively and accurately communicates relevant project information to the customer and project team
- Assists the Project Engineer to keep the Project Sponsor/Customer and other stakeholders informed about project status and issues that may impact customer relations, flagging early signs of schedule or budget slippage in order to agree on corrective actions.
- Anticipates and takes pre-emptive action to address potential conflict situations that may impact on project delivery
- Assists in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, tenders, budgets, cash flow, plans, procedures, and preliminary schedules
**Leadership**
- Develops, communicates and reinforces team objectives and agrees ways of working with the team

Skills / Qualifications:
**Who we are looking for**:
- University degree in relevant technical discipline or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
**Knowledge, skills and experience**:
- An understanding of metrics and data collection and analysis methods as well as business awareness and ability to develop relationships across the project team to facilitate data collection.
- Basic knowledge and experience of Project Success and Benefits Management on small, standard projects.
- Basic knowledge and experience of stakeholder and requirements management
- Awareness of project initiation processes and tools.
- Awareness of national and international quality assurance standards.
- Knowledge of the relevant national and international legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements and consequences of non-compliance
