You will contribute to the achievement of the site objectives by being accountable for the delivery of Health & Safety and Technical Operational Excellence for the site. You will be responsible for monitoring operational KPI's using information to identify improvements for technical operational performance.
You will spend part of the day in the factory, driving and communicating high standards and expectations to the QA team and site teams. You will always be looking to challenge and improve safety, improve quality procedures and processes, driving product quality in the most cost effective manner. You will be instrumental in developing, encouraging and maintaining a culture of responsibility, ownership, accountability, engagement, high performance, empowerment, teamwork and effective positive communication.
You will support the Technical Manager and Quality Systems Manager to ensure efficiency and compliancy both internally and externally. You will be required to support the delivery of Health & Safety targets, budget expenditure and all other agreed KPI's. As the Technical Coordinator your priority is to support the team to build QMS capability across site and provide governance of the QMS to ensure the delivery of best in class products whilst striving to continuously improve. You will support the Technical Manager to optimise profitability in conjunction with short and long-term business strategies, goals and objectives.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
It is essential you have 5 years experience with chilled and cooking processes.
High calibre technical and quality system knowledge
Good communication skills - personable, empathetic and able to build rapport
IT Literate
Good team working skills
Ability to prioritise, make data driven decisions and work on own initiative
Ability to work under pressure and deliver results to a defined deadline
