Responsible for the land and property management of all the Trust’s estate assets to ensure safe, compliant and commercially economical estate management is delivered and achieved.

Manage and ensure that all acquisitions, disposals, leases, lets, occupation arrangements and associated legal contracts for property are efficiently and effectively managed.

Ensure the day-to-day management of all property occupations across the Trust meet accommodation needs, economic use of the estate portfolio and the management of property occupation and tenures.

Ensure robust financial, space management, utilisation and estate capacity is provided for, delivered and reported and supports the on-going delivery of the Estates Strategy. Provide strategic estate support and advice on all property matters and provide input into strategic estate plans and programmes. Manage the delivery of all the estate portfolios non freehold asset management landlord / tenant duties.

Develop the Trust estate in line with current strategies and estate plans whilst ensuring the efficient use of property and asset monitoring across the entire estate portfolio including freehold, leasehold, NHS Property Services (NHSPS)/Community Health Partnerships (CHPs)/Local Improvement Finance Trusts (LIFT)/Privately Funded Initiative (PFI) etc. is continually assessed and reviewed.

Provide highly complex and commercially sensitive property management advice and legal real estate expertise on the Trust’s estates with relation to acquisition, disposal, lease, lets, valuations (including commercial management and contract compliance). Act on behalf of Trust in the management of estate and financial contractual legal obligations.
