**DIGITAL ART DIRECTOR**

Do you want to develop visual and digital concepts for our portfolio of progressive clients? We are looking for a creative person to join our art direction team. This position is full time permanent and based in our UK office in Edinburgh.

**The job**

As Cadpeople’s new Digital Art Director, you will enjoy a varied work life in a creative and busy environment. You will be working together with other art directors, graphic designers, project managers, copywriters, 3D animators, developers, VR/AR wizards and sales strategists - all of whom are passionate about visual communication.

You will be working on projects across many digital platforms mostly placed within our 2 main business segments: Learning and Marketing. Our solutions include digital learning, apps, virtual and augmented reality, advertisements and product films, 3D visualization and animation, advanced digital simulators, expo materials, and more.

**About you**

We are looking for a creative individual who has excellent communication skills and identifies with some or all of the following requirements:

- You want to work in a creative environment with challenging briefs
- You have relevant work experience - preferably at least 2-3 years' work experience within Creative and/or Digital industry.
- Experience with storyboarding either by sketching or using digital tools
- You have a razor-sharp sense for concept development and digital design
- You have experience running workshops
- You think visually and conceptually and feel at home with different digital platforms
- You are a multi-tasker and thrive in a challenging and creative workspace
- You have experience developing customer relations
- You are skilled at presenting your work to colleagues as well as clients - you can pitch to make an impression
- You meet your deadlines and understand the financial aspects of a project
- You have an interest in learning about new technologies
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Creative Cloud is essential

We are 50 Cad-people at our headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark, and 12 in our office in Edinburgh, Scotland. For more than 25 years, we have developed visual communication in a myriad of ways for clients like Vestas, Leica Geosystems, Siemens, FLSmidth, Catapult, Ørsted, RBS, SSE, EDF Energy, Edinburgh Collegeto name a few.
