**What You'll Do**:
Collaborate closely with our dedicated staff to provide cost-effective and customer-focused services
Maintain regular communication with customers and key stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded
Take ownership of assigned cases from start to finish, managing them efficiently and professionally
Ensure budget responsibilities are met, contributing to forecasting and efficiency plans
Prepare and present comprehensive reports to managers
Manage contractors effectively, ensuring they deliver according to their contracts and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Cultivate strong relationships with external stakeholders, building trust and confidence in our team.
Conduct thorough pre-inspections and building surveys, identifying defects and providing detailed reports and cost estimates for necessary repairs
Offer expert technical advice on building defects and contribute to the day-to-day responsive repair service
Uphold strict safety protocols and report any incidents promptly
**What You'll Need**:
Relevant HNC/HND and/or membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB)
Extensive experience in building surveying, ideally within a social housing context
Proven success in managing complex caseloads and projects from inception to completion
Exceptional customer relationship skills
Up-to-date understanding of Health and Safety regulations and relevant legislation
Strong report writing and technical assessment abilities.
