**Administrative Assistant**

**Job description**

We are looking for a competent Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. Administrative Assistant responsibilities include:

- Answering the phone/door taking bookings and helping customers with enquiries
- Managing the day to day diary
- Ordering and booking in parts
- Keeping a check on stock levels
- Communicating with insurance companies
- Ensuring vehicles are completed on schedule and updating customers
- Maintaining appropriate filing systems
- Maintain contact lists
- Provide general support to visitors
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers

**Skills**
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and Computers
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Salary**: £15,579.20-£21,673.60 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Broxburn: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
