Accounts and Payroll Assistant

**The Role**

Our Finance team is expanding to support the growing needs of our people and business, and we are seeking a new Accounts/ Payroll Assistant to come and join us.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as be a strong contributor within our Finance Team. Interpersonal skills, tech savvy and the proven ability to work accurately with tight deadlines and a strong focus on results are a must.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Processing weekly and monthly payrolls
- Support pension and benefits administration
- Answer employees’ questions on payroll, pension and benefits matters
- Purchase Ledger - Assists in the processing of purchase invoices, supplier statement reconciliations and investigating queries
- Stock Control - assist the Financial Controller in Validating stock
- General administration within the finance department
- Ensure and maintain high standards of data quality and integrity

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years payroll or admin experience
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize
- Good analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to details
- A team player who is able to collaborate across the wider business
- Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality at all times

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
