Being keen cyclists ourselves, we took a look at the eBike market, and saw the opportunity to provide affordable products, without compromising on high quality and style. Thus, the MiRiDER One was born Designed with a focus on providing reassuring performance ride after ride, using a combination of advanced technology, superior style, and unbeatable quality, the MiRiDER One was carefully crafted to be the ultimate electric folding bike. We’re a family-run business, located in the heart of Lancashire, where there’s a plethora of hills to ride up and down We’re a diverse bunch, always looking for the next challenge. Due to increased growth, we are seeking a self-motivated, confident person with a can do attitude to build and package new e-bikes.

**The role**

This role requires attention to detail and someone who takes real pride in their work. Previous experience working with eBikes/bikes is preferred, but full specialist training will be provided on how to assemble the MiRiDER One eBike. Ultimately, we are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable trainee bike builder who can help us build our business and progress and grow with us.
- **Key Responsibilities**_
- Be trained to assemble eBike’s in a view to assembling them independently to the highest standard
- Clean and prepare e-bikes ready to be packed
- Package e-bikes ready to be shipped
- Replenish stock of bike parts ready for assembly
- Keep assembly area clean, tidy and organised
- Support and report to Production Manager
- To follow health and safety policies and procedures
- To attend bike/eBike shows
- To participate in assembling and disassembling trade show stand area
- Talk to the public/trade customers at bike shows
- Must be willing to carry out any other add hoc duties within the warehouse
- **Desirable/Essential Skills and experiences**_
- Previous experience in mechanics or bike mechanics is preferred
- Have an interest in e-bikes is essential
- A level 1 Cytech qualification would be advantageous
- A willingness to complete training courses
- Must know how to use basic tools such as a spanner
- Must be punctual with good attendance at work
- Must have high expectations of themselves and excellent attention to detail
- Confident in talking to the public face to face
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team
- Able to follow instructions
- Able to work to deadlines
- Driving license preferred
- Committed to overtime when needed

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break.

An opportunity for paid overtime during peak seasons.

**Salary**: £11.55 per hour (£22,530 per annum)

Please note that part of the interview process will be a short and simple practical task.
