**Responsibilities**

As a Drainage Maintenance Apprentice, you’ll be working within the Kier Highways team, supporting them in keeping over 27,000km of roads flowing across the UK.

Your day to day will include:

- Working on the cyclical gully cleansing programme and reactive service to ensure that drainage assets are operational
- Be part of a 2-person team working collaboratively to ensure work is completed efficiently
- Participating in out of hours incident response as well as winter service duties

You will also study for a **Level 2 Highways Maintenance Skilled Operative **qualification with support from our experienced teams - giving you the practical skills and expertise to excel in your career.
