**Opening times**: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

**Hours**:42.5 hours per week.

**The Company**

Genpower Ltd, founded in 2006, is a family-run business and the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor of Hyundai Power Products. The company also distributes JCB portable power equipment worldwide and JCB Tools in the UK. Operating from headquarters in Pembroke Dock and a distribution centre in Newport, Genpower serves a network of dealers and direct consumers. Our extensive product range includes garden machinery, generators, pressure washers, air compressors, water pumps, power tools, and workshop equipment.

Our company employs over 140 staff across five sites, with departments including finance, sales, aftersales, profit protection, digital & ecommerce, parts, warehouse, workshop, and quality.

**The Role**

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and proactive HR & Recruitment Administrator with the capability of managing a diverse workload. You will have excellent organisational skills, a strong understanding of HR processes and a passion for nurturing talent. It is important that you develop a strong understanding of our people, business, and culture through immersive, hands-on experience.

**Key responsibilities**:
**Recruitment**
- Support the onboarding process by preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, and coordinating new hire inductions/orientations.

**Human Resources**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, job roles, and benefits.
- Assist with the preparation and processing of HR documents, such as employment contracts, performance reviews, and termination paperwork.
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and other employee development activities.
- Attendance management and overseeing the return to work process.
- Ensure probation reviews are planned, completed and managed.
- Provide generalist administration support across all HR functions.
- Receive and implement process change requests in line with outset policy
- Conduct exit interviews and coordinating shut down / leaver processes.
- Note taking and supporting investigation, disciplinary and grievance procedures as required.
- Attend meetings/note taking to support managers and/or team members when required.
- Ensure business processes are documented with correct version control and stored in compliance with our ISO9001 framework.

**Employee Relations**:

- Serve as a point of contact for employee enquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Assist in organising employee engagement activities and events. This includes general events throughout the year and main charity fundraising events.
- Support the department in addressing employee concerns and fostering a positive workplace environment.
- Monitor team 121/review schedule and ensuring that the managers are meeting outset deadlines.
- Create and drive a feedback orientated culture within the team.
- Update and manage all aspects of the company’s corporate website, staff intranet and notice boards.

**Qualifications**:

- 2-3 years of experience in HR administration or recruitment.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good IT skills.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
