**Job Title**: Field Care Supervisor

**Location**:Field-based in York and surrounding areas

**Contract**: Full-Time + On Call duties (Part Time considered)

**Salary**:Hourly Pay 13.50-14.50

***Could you be the Field Care Supervisor in York we’re looking for?***:
As a Field Care Supervisor, you’ll be spending your time in the community conducting visits to review and assess the work of our Care Professionals. As a champion for outstanding care, you’ll be supervising, supporting and guiding a team of carers on a daily basis.

You’re someone who loves working with people and helping their development, outcomes-focused and always looking for ways to enhance quality of care, while working in an environment that’s busy and fluid. Day-to-day, this includes:

- Use digital care planning software to **manage and record spot checks, competency checks, supervisions and appraisals** with Care Professionals
- Undertake **client assessments, visits and reviews** to facilitate a professional and personal care service
- Ensure **risk assessments are fulfilled** for the safety and wellbeing of both clients and Care Professionals
- Be approachable and available to **offer guidance and advice to Care Professionals** in the field day-to-day
- Support the compliance team with **audits** to ensure efficient and safe daily operations
- **Provide timely and professional feedback** to the care management team about the service, clients and Care Professionals
- **Provide care services to clients** in their own homes
- Play a proactive role in the **training and support of Care Professionals**:

- Participate in the **on call rota** to provide support to carers and clients at times when the office is closed

You’ll need to have at least 6 months experience in a similar care role and ideally a Level 3 NVQ (although we can support with this if required). You’ll also need a UK driver’s licence, be over the age of 18 and have access to your own vehicle. The role requires weekend availability and will cover York as well as surrounding rural locations.
