**The Role**
This permanent, full-time position, reporting to our Director of Data & Analytics will see you leading the delivery of a proactive research & insight programme, working closely with the business’s senior management to encourage an ‘Insight to fuel strategy’ through a deep understanding of current and future business needs.
Integral in delivering a customer centric insight programme to all aspects of the business, this role will represent our customers ‘perspective and be their voice in proposition development and competitor positioning; working in partnership with managers and leaders to develop interventions that consistently add value.
You will ensure the delivery of high-quality data analysis, research and user centred analytical tools, transforming intelligence into insights to support a preventative approach, driving transparency so that our data and analytics can be used both internally and externally, to benefit at an industry level.
**Let’s take a closer look at what your day-to-day will look like**:
- Developing an industry-leading ‘thought leadership’ insight programme
- Developing the post purchase satisfaction survey, ensuring learnings are cascaded across the relevant areas of the business to better improve our customers' experience
- Compiling customer and competitor market and audience information to assess the potential of any new product or strategic development
- Insight for PR - overseeing research specifically designed to build the consumer and employer brand in parallel with the Communications team- Delivering an insight programme to support our Funeral plan business and their partners; generating insight to support product development as well as meeting our regulatory requirements and supporting in delivering customer experience improvements
**Must haves we’re looking for in experience for this role**:
- Experience of influencing and engaging across functions and up to board level
- A strong knowledge and understanding of the role that insight delivers in improving customer experience and in understanding competitor positioning
- A strong understanding as to how strategic insight and thought leadership can provide value to senior management and key departments;
- Capable of interpreting and working with big datasets and implementing insight driven solutions.
- Analytic Experience in qualitative methods of analysis
- Technical Experience in primary and desk-based research.
