Overview:
Element has an opportunity for a new **Procurement Operations Specialist** to join our team based in Edinburgh. Supporting management of Element’s procurement needs, in this role you will assist the Element business in providing a professional service across a range of category areas to our labs and businesses across Europe.

As part of the shared service business, you will work closely with our finance teams to help ensure our labs' procurement requirements are delivered effectively and efficiently.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all Element Procurement processes are adhered to across the business
- Provide the necessary governance and control required to ensure operational requirements are met
- Ensure all procurement ops tasks are delivered on time
- Supervise sata cleansing and maintenance of all ERP systems (Dynamics 365, Dynamics AX, Navision)
- Support Procurement Admin team in responding to site and stakeholder queries as required across various category areas
- Assist with vendor escalations (including invoice resolution & supplier service issues)
- Support finance team on P2P process for all UK and European sites
- Support various projects within the Procurement Operations team to help drive continuous improvement across the Element business including new Purchasing card program
- Support the team to develop and maintain a robust Preferred Supplier List
- Deputise for Procurement Operations manager when required

Skills / Qualifications:

- Strong, all round Procurement knowledge including ERP systems, procurement processes, vendor management and PO administration
- Excellent communicator with a can-do attitude
- Strong process management / control experience is desirable
- Experience of supplier interaction enabling issue resolution
- Procurement system experience (Raising Purchase Orders, Supplier setup and reporting)
- Exposure to multi-site environment
- Strong MS Excel knowledge
- Team player
