Partner and Industry Sustainability Lead

As the industry and partner sustainability lead for Skyscanner, you will be stepping into a new role which is tasked with forging dialogue and cooperation with our partners around sustainability, and forging Skyscanner's industry positioning.

As this is a new role there will be huge scope to shape and contribute to a pivotal topic in travel and strategic priority for Skyscanner as we work towards helping ' every traveller explore the world effortlessly, for generations to come.'

Core Responsibilities:

- Develop and own discussions with partners around sustainability, promote what we are doing, understand partner focus, strategies and activities, and align on joint plans
- Be the face of Skyscanner at industry level, ensuring Skyscanner is seen as a thought leader on sustainability and a leading sustainable travel brand
- Work closely with product to influence roadmaps based on partner and industry feedback.
- Manage any identified partner and Skyscanner joint activity and projects, these being across product, communications, etc
- Closely monitor industry level discussion on sustainability, ensuring that relevant insights for Skyscanner are shared internally.
- Work with marketing and communications on ways to ensure travellers are aware of our partners efforts around sustainability
- Work closely with our sustainability and public affairs teams to help shape and share our strategic vision for sustainability at Skyscanner
- Whilst the initial focus of this role will be on Skyscanner's flights business, a general appreciation of sustainability across all of Skyscanner's interests would be expected.

Required Skills/Experience:

- Previous experience in a partner or industry facing role, experience of externally representing an organisation
- Significant experience, knowledge and understanding of sustainability topics, preferably within aviation
- Collaborate with different disciplines by building strong relationships
- Strong level of written and verbal skills to communicate clearly on opportunities & challenges to internal stakeholders
- Interest in solving complex problems and managing ambiguity
