Edinburgh, Edinburgh, United Kingdom Climate17 Full time

Candidates for the Sustainability Consultant position at Climate17 will have the opportunity to work with a leading independent consultancy firm specializing in Development, Built Asset, and Sustainability consultancy.

The company has a strong track record across all commercial property sectors, advising investors, developers, occupiers, and owners on maximizing property asset values. Our client offers best-in-class sustainability advice, working predominantly with commercial clients. Their Sustainability team is based in the London office and provides expert guidance to help clients understand energy performance and net-zero carbon needs.

The Sustainability Consultant role involves working directly with key clients to understand their energy performance and net-zero carbon needs. As a Sustainability Consultant, you will take a leadership role within project teams to inspire and embed sustainability in diverse environments, including site visits, workshops, meetings, and problem-solving sessions.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the Engineering and Sustainability (E&S) team, reporting to the E&S Associate Director, supporting the technical delivery of LCA/LCC/WLC analysis and reporting, and assisting with EPC, MEES, and NZC pathway reporting.

We're seeking a candidate who has a strong understanding of sustainable development issues and low-carbon design in the built environment, a building-related degree, preferably in engineering or architecture, and experience within sustainability consultancy (advantageous but not necessary). Knowledge of sustainable design themes and UK policy frameworks is also desirable.

**Salary Estimate:** £70,000 - £90,000 per annum.
