Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Consultant to join our team at ERM, Environmental Resources Management. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meeting the world's climate change goals.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing programme and project management support to our clients. Your key focus will be on ensuring high-quality delivery of projects, on time and within budget. You will work closely with our technical experts to deliver reports and studies to clients, and manage external subcontractors and associates contributing to project delivery.

You will have overall responsibility for leading and managing projects, ensuring they meet ERM and client specifications. We offer flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle, including remote working options and a generous annual leave package.

As a Sustainability Consultant, you will have access to industry-leading training and development opportunities, as well as a robust career framework in place. You will be part of a global community of experts who share your commitment to sustainability and equity.

The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of the EIA and consenting process for major renewables development sectors in the UK, as well as demonstrable project management skills. Leadership and line management experience, business development skills, and excellent communication and organisational skills are also essential.
