Direct Debit Admin Assistant

We are recruiting for a Direct Debit Administrator for a modern contact center in New Milton, Hampshire.

Becoming the UK's largest monitoring center, supporting over 200,000 people across the country, and developing the first digital telecare system has been no small feats.
Fixed Term Contract for 6 months
Hybrid - New Milton Office 1 day per week (3 during training period),
Work from home 4 days a week dependant on requirements
up to £24,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
In this role you will be working within the Finance team, ensuring accurate and timely handling of all aspects of Direct Debit collections and other monthly payment services.
**Your main responsibilities and activities will be..**
- Sending out Direct Debit correspondence
- Data Inputting new Direct Debit Mandates
- Producing and checking Direct Debit Payment Plans
- Administering day to day Direct Debit queries
- Monthly posting, checking and reconciliation of Direct Debit rejections
- Processing monthly Direct Debit collections
- Processing Standing Order and Credit Card payments
- Assisting with processing cash receipts for variouscompanies
- Assisting with refund requests
- To do ad hocprojects/tasks as and when required
- To ensure customer records are maintained to a high standard.
- To ensure collections are accurate and on time each month
**Requirements**:
We are looking for someone who has previous experience in an accounting environment and/or Direct Debit processing.
They will need to have GCSE's or equivalent level of education, knowledge & experience with accounting systems and familiarity of Statutory rules and regulations. It would be advantageous if they have knowledge of Business Central MIS or databases.
