An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Embodied Carbon Consultant to join a leading global environmental design consultancy committed to creating sustainable, high-performance buildings and spaces.

As an Embodied Carbon Consultant, you will play a key role in helping their clients achieve their sustainability goals by minimising the embodied carbon footprint of their projects. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful and impactful projects while working with a dynamic team of industry experts.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Conduct detailed assessments of the embodied carbon impact of building materials and systems throughout the project lifecycle, from design to construction and operation phases.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to develop strategies and design solutions that optimise material choices and reduce embodied carbon emissions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on best practices for measuring, modelling, and reducing embodied carbon.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to clients and project stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and certifications related to embodied carbon.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in a relevant field such as sustainable design, environmental engineering, or architecture.
- 2 years' minimum experience working within a consultancy
- Strong understanding of embodied carbon assessment methodologies and LCA tools.
- Experience in conducting embodied carbon assessments for building projects
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and certifications such as LEED, BREEAM, or the Embodied Carbon in Construction Calculator (EC3).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
