**The role**

We’re seeking a Research Officer to join our expanding Research team In this newly created role, you will work closely with the Senior Research Manager to develop and deliver the charity’s research funding schemes, so they are innovative, effective, and impartial, ensuring that we address key unmet needs of both the research community and people affected by pancreatic cancer. You will also work across many of our teams within the charity to provide research information and insights; steward and support people affected by pancreatic cancer involved in research activities; and facilitate projects of work in the research community.

Some of the main responsibilities of this role include:

- Supporting the management and delivery of grant funding processes.
- Monitoring and evaluating live awards for both internal and external audiences.
- Supporting ongoing internal and external research projects with management oversight, providing strategic input and administrative support, where necessary.

- Able to manage a busy and varied workload, whilst maintaining attention to detail, and high-quality standards.
