**The role**: Finance Assistant

**Location**: Progress House, Urlay Nook Road, Eaglescliffe, Stockton-on-Tees, TS16 0QB

**Contract type**: Full-time, Permanent (part-time/job share will also be considered)

**Hours**: 37.5 hrs per week (To be worked flexibly between Monday - Friday)

**Salary**: £20,000 - £22,000 per annum

**Main purpose of the job**: To support the finance team in delivering an efficient and effective finance service to the charity, ensuring finance records are maintained.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service delivers emergency, life-saving treatment to the people of the North at the critical moments that matter.

Operating two helicopters and a fleet of rapid response vehicles across the North East, North Yorkshire, Cumbria and the Isle of Man, our critical care teams are ready to respond 365 days a year.

**About the role and you**

The Finance Assistant role is to work in the Finance Department and support in the delivery of an efficient and effective finance service to the charity.

You will help develop systems to ensure the management of charity finance is as effective as possible, process transactions efficiently and maintain accurate and detailed transaction records to ensure our supporters have the best experience.

If you are committed to providing excellent customer service with strong IT skills and a good eye for detail, your skills could make a real difference.
