**About This Opportunity**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in planning and organizing events including logistics, budgeting, vendor coordination, and attendee management
- Respond to initial event inquiries to gather information, and distribute to correct team members.
- Assist with the creation of event timelines, agendas and presentations
- Coordinate event logistics including transportation, accommodation, catering, and AV equipment
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure successful execution of events
- Assist with on-site event coordination, set-up, and tear-down
- Ensure timely communication with attendees, sponsors, and stakeholders to ensure a smooth and successful event
- Provide excellent customer service to event attendees
- Track and report event metrics, feedback, and budget management
- Create and maintain process for post-event review and analysis.
- Manage the swag (souvenirs, wearables and gifts) component by identifying creative and cost-effective additions attractive to various global clientele.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or related field preferred
- Previous event planning experience
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Chat, Drive, Docs,Sheets, Slides, Forms, Sites) and other event management software
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings in some cases if an event requires it.
- Familiarity with HubSpot & Salesforce is considered an asset.
- Resourceful and capable of moving projects forward with mínimal support or guidance.
- A high degree of self-motivation, constantly developing new ideas and keeping up with technology.
