A brilliant opportunity has come to market for an experienced Account Handler to join a leading insurance brokerage in Preston, working as part of their well-respected corporate division.
Working as a Corporate Account Handler, you will maintain and service an existing book of Commercial and Corporate clients. You will negotiate and agree all renewal terms, whilst assisting Account Executives and senior staff in their involvement with any sales and marketing campaigns as required.
THE ROLE:
Key responsibilities for the Corporate Account Handler opportunity include, but are not limited to:

- Maintaining and servicing an existing book of Commercial and Corporate clients
- Taking instructions from new clients, ensuring cover commences at the correct time, all relevant paperwork is completed, premium is collected and relevant records and diary entries are created.
- Taking instructions from existing customers in respect of alterations to existing policies, ensuring insurers are notified and records updated.
- Handling renewals and mid-term adjustments for clients.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- A strong commercial broking background working as Account Handler, ideally with exposure to dealing with corporate level risks.
- Excellent technical knowledge across a wide range of commercial insurance products.
- You will be able to demonstrate good communication skills both with clients and colleagues and be an excellent negotiator.
- Our client is looking for an individual with a positive and confident attitude who will fit well within a successful team.
