**Leadership and Operational management**:
Professional leadership of the Physiotherapy Service and operational management of the Therapy teams in MSK, Rheumatology, Women’s Health, Paediatrics, Pain management, Acute Stroke, Neurological Rehabilitation, Emergency Department, Elderly Care wards, Medical and respiratory services, and other front door services., Orthopaedics, ICU, Surgery, Gynaecology, Paediatric wards, as well as the Advanced Physiotherapist Practitioner Service, and Hydrotherapy service.
**Responsible for**:
This role is responsible for the development of high quality, clinically effective patient centred services, ensuring these are delivered through the effective leadership, management and deployment of resources ensuring staff well-being and support.
RBFT is one of the largest district general hospital foundation trusts in the country. With a turnover of over £375m, employing over 5,000 staff and delivering care from multiple sites, we provide acute medical and surgical services to a population of 500,000 patients in Reading, Wokingham and West Berkshire and specialist services to a wider population of 1 million across Berkshire and its borders.
