About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Outpatient Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy team at Berkshire Independent Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day management of the out-patient physiotherapy service, reporting to the Physiotherapy Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement service delivery projects to improve patient outcomes and service efficiency
  • Coordinate training and professional development for physiotherapy staff
  • Review patient documentation, audits, and PDRs to ensure high-quality care
  • Assist the Physiotherapy Manager in ensuring the service is safe and effective
  • Deliver an outstanding level of care and manage your own workload while considering the needs of the business

Person Specification

We are looking for a physiotherapist with:

HCPC and CSP registrationExperience in leadership and promoting innovation and improvementExcellent knowledge of orthopaedics and MSK physiotherapyAbility to organise and prioritise independentlyExcellent communication, accuracy, and interpersonal skillsExperience in clinical audits and outcome toolsAbility to demonstrate excellent clinical reasoning processesUnderstanding of CSP Standards of Physiotherapy Practice and Rules of Professional ConductFlexibility and ability to work within the governance framework of the hospital
