About the Role

Ramsay Health Care UK Operations Limited is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy team at Berkshire Independent Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day management of the out-patient physiotherapy service, reporting to the Physiotherapy Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement service delivery projects to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Coordinate training and professional development for physiotherapy staff
  • Review patient documentation, audits, and performance data to ensure service quality and safety
  • Assist the Physiotherapy Manager in ensuring the service is safe, effective, and compliant with regulatory standards
  • Deliver high-quality patient care and manage your own workload while considering the needs of the business

Person Specification

  • HCPC and CSP registration
  • Experience in leadership and promoting innovation and improvement
  • Excellent knowledge of orthopaedics and MSK physiotherapy
  • Ability to organize and prioritize independently
  • Ability to maintain judgment under pressure
  • Excellent communication, accuracy, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in clinical audits and utilizing outcome tools
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent clinical reasoning processes
  • Excellent understanding of CSP Standards of Physiotherapy Practice and Rules of Professional Conduct
  • Work within the governance framework of the hospital and comply with regulatory standards (CQC)
