**The role**:
The School of Physics at the University of Bristol seeks to appoint a Lecturer whose role will be to deliver a world-class research programme in detection materials and technology, as part of our Materials and Devices Theme; you will also deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. This full-time post is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-profile university which values its international leading research track record which you will complement/enhance.

**What will you be doing?**:
You will also be involved in a range of undergraduate teaching activities in the school, including small group tutorials, lectures, workshops. There will be opportunities to contribute to the preparation and development of units. You will engage effectively with the University’s Cultivating Research-rich Education and Teaching Excellence (CREATE) scheme.

As the postholder you will have excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills. You will demonstrate awareness of the academic needs of postgraduate and undergraduate students.
