We require 2 part time Kitchen Assistants to assist our Chef in the preparation of nutritious meals for our residents to enjoy. You will become part of a team who take pride in delivering good, nutritious food in a pleasant and homely environment.

Your role will be:

- To assist with the preparation of meals and snacks, and ensure tea trolleys are well equipped/stocked and delivered to the correct area of the home.
- To liaise with all staff to ensure that individual residents’ needs are met on a daily basis.
- To maintain a hygienic environment in the kitchen at all times including:

- Regular cleaning of all areas, as per Cleaning Rota.
- Keeping a clean and safe environment, including ensuring the dishwasher is kept clean, washing up equipment unsuitable for dishwasher, empty kitchen waste and ensuring all food is treated in a hygienic and appropriate way
- Attend all Health & Safety and COSHH training updates as required to ensure safe practices are adhered to at all times.

You will need to undergo a PVG (Disclosure Scotland), and have good basic food hygiene knowledge, COSHH, and exceptional attention to detail

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 27 per week
