Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. If you have a passion for culinary arts and enjoy working in a kitchen setting, we would love to hear from you.
**Duties**:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and customer preferences
- Ensure food is cooked and presented in an appealing manner
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food quality and sanitation standards
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in meal preparation or cooking, preferably in a restaurant or culinary setting
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
Pay: From £11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
