The role of Care Co-ordinator is key. You are responsible for managing and coordinating our most precious resource, our Care Professional’s time, and skills. In planning routes, organising rosters, managing holiday and sickness, constantly thinking ahead, you are at the heart of our ability to operate efficiently, deliver the highest standard of care, and always be compliant.

**You’ll be responsible for**:

- Effective rostering to ensure that we match our Care Professionals time, skills, and experience to meet the needs and expectations of all our clients
- Organising our Care Professionals rosters to minimise travel distances, using their time wisely and ensuring we focus on continuity of care
- Completing rosters in good time and manage any changes effectively, minimising disruption and inconvenience to our Care Professionals and our clients and their loved ones
- Managing holiday throughout the year so we can always deliver the required care at the highest standards
- Monitoring all relevant aspects of the care management system to ensure we are always compliant including alerts
- Undertake care visits for new clients and when care professionals are absent
- Communicating and managing any day-to-day changes efficiently and effectively
- Managing concerns or complaints quickly and professionally to avoid any unnecessary escalation
- Supporting our marketing activity for example by encouraging reviews through Homecare.co.uk
- Keeping track of client birthdays and their important events

**Essential qualifications & experience**
- Full UK Driving License with Class 1 Business Use Insurance
- Confident use of care management and computer systems
- Previous experience in a coordinator or logistics role

**Other skills, Qulaifications and attributes**
- Care Certificate or Level 3 Health and Social Care QCF preferred but not essential
- You’ll be highly organised and dynamic
- You’ll have strong problem-solving skills
- You’ll have a positive, can-do attitude
- You are a great communicator and team player
- You are detailed focussed but can also see the big picture
- You are passionate about delivering the highest standard of care

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- providing care: 1 year (preferred)
