Our client is a local membership organisation who are leaders within their field. Due to team expansion and growing business, they have created a brand-new role and as a result, are looking for an experienced part-time Office Administrator to join theirsmall, family-feel team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an administrative professional who may have some experience with basic accounting responsibilities who is ready to help shape and develop a brand-new role.
- **This is a _part-time_ (minimum 20 hours) office based role and the business operates working hours of Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-2pm.**:

- **A driving license and access your own vehicle is essential for this role due to the location.**

**Main responsibilities**:

- Effective day-to-day office management including a general upkeep of facilities e.g. PAT Testing, TV License renewal, organising external suppliers, telephone enquiries, ordering business cards and various promo materials for events.
- Supporting the training department with tasks including; sending out training confirmations, updating the bookings spreadsheet, distributing materials, setting up the training room ahead of in-house events, issuing course certificates and writing and progressingtraining proposals.
- Assisting the Marketing department with any website updates.
- Assisting the Events department with announcing any new events and sending confirmation out.
- Offering technical admin support to the business' members and consultants if required.
- Maintain and update the company database effectively.
- General assisting with basic Accounts tasks including raising invoices/credit notes etc from time to time.

**Key Skills & Experience**:

- Previous experience working within an administrative/office environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A basic knowledge of accounting procedures such as bookkeeping, billing and invoicing and other general financial procedures is an advantage, however is not essential.
- IT literate including all Microsoft Office packages.
