**The role**

Responsible for the UK market, you will partner closely with the UK Managing Director to proactively shape and support the People agenda. You will lead a small team of HRBPs to deliver HRBP and HR Operational support for the UK business, circa 300 headcounts(including a small headcount in UAE).

This role also acts as a strategic Senior Business Partner for the UK and Emerging Markets Commercial business line, supporting them to achieve their strategic goals. In this business unit-aligned role, you be responsible for driving the People agenda, ensuringpeople leaders are equipped and able to deliver against ongoing people leadership commitments, taking a view on internal and external talent and coaching leaders. You will partner with senior leaders to execute the People strategy, identifying and implementingappropriate initiatives working alongside and supported by relevant CoE’s (Talent, Reward, HRIS, Communications).

The role requires strong collaboration and stakeholder management within a global HR team to promote the engagement and delivery of key (often global) People initiatives including annual merit cycles, employee voice strategy, DE&I, performance and talentmanagement programs/cycles.

Focused on the ongoing enhancement of our colleague experience and adept at identifying organisational and people priorities, you will also work closely with the VP of HR EMEIA on the design and implementation of global companywide HR initiatives and prioritiesacross EMEIA. You will also deputise for the VP of HR EMEIA as needed.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Partner with internal stakeholders in delivering against their department/company strategy
- Developing and delivering an annual HR plan, aimed at driving employee engagement, higher performance culture and ensuring best practice HR solutions in support of the delivery of the key stakeholders’ business plan(s)
- Clarifying the resource requirements for the client groups and engaging and where appropriate the TA team to deliver against these needs
- Providing trusted one-to-one guidance and coaching to the UK leadership team/ department heads and managers on all HR matters
- Managing and overseeing the UK HR Operations (Onboarding and HRIS)
- Leading on UK HR policy design and updates to ensure that we deliver on current and forthcoming legislation changes.

- Partnering with other the global HR team and leadership to support the implementation of BU people plans
- Supporting leaders in Talent Development initiatives (identifying development and learning opportunities, IDPs) and engaging with regional and global Learning & Development (L&D)
- Supporting talent reviews, performance reviews, salary and promotions at all levels
- To coach, mentor and motivate the HR Business Partners giving regular feedback and management of their performance - upskilling as required
- To look for opportunities to improve internal processes/services and work with the appropriate people to implement these changes
- To collaborate and share best practices with the other HR leaders across EMEIA and wider global HR team.
- Research design and deliver HR solutions in collaboration with CoEs, including Leadership, L&D, Performance management, Change Management, Talent Management and Reward. on a range of people-focused HR project work/initiatives. i.e. Wellbeing, managementdevelopment, talent assessment and succession planning.

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- CIPD qualification or relevant experience
- Previous experience as a Senior HR Business Partner in an international fast-paced/matrix environment where you have driven the people agenda to meet business needs. Experience supporting a Commercial BU desirable
- Experience in providing a proactive support to a broad level of stakeholders
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and best practice in the UK (exposure to other territories would be advantageous).
- High level of strategic and operational agility
- Ability to prioritise workload whilst providing excellent client service to a variety of stakeholders.
- Proven ability to quickly engage, inspire and influence at a senior level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised and able to work on their own initiative
- Detailed knowledge (from the concept to implementing to maintaining) of all aspects of Human Resource Management, in particular areas of employee relations and employment law, performance management and HR projects.
- Experience of the design and delivery of successful change programs & TUPE. M&A experience desirable
- Strong customer-facing and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of HR policy, process and legislation
- Previous successful management of a team(s)
