**Role Snapshot **

Working with partners you will be responsible for developing and supporting a range of skills and employability projects across the South Norfolk and Broadland area. You will oversee the delivery and ongoing monitoring of Shared Prosperity Fund employability grant funding to build capacity in the community sector and support residents to overcome barriers to employment, education and training.

You will build the Help Hub’s skills and employability activity and work across a broad network of partners, including those receiving SPF funding, to help people reach their potential.

**What you’ll be doing **

Leading the roll out of UKSPF for skills projects, focused on improving employability and confidence for customers with barriers to work.

Work alongside the Workstream Lead to contract manage SPSF funded projects to ensure delivery against agreed objectives of the fund.

Build a partnership and network among existing community support providers in the employment and skills sector to ensure consistent provision across the districts.

Coordinate the delivery of in-house employment and skills support projects and activity, overseeing frontline delivery of employment advice provision.

Work alongside the Financial Wellbeing Team and wider Help Hub, to support customers experiencing financial hardship to improve their earning potential.

Work as part of the Help Hub team, providing a link between frontline services, and their customers, and the UKSPF funded projects.

**You must have**
- Substantial relevant experience in the skills and employment sector, including knowledge of funding streams such as the UK Shared Prosperity Fund or European Union Social Fund
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as IT literacy (Microsoft packages) and information gathering skills.
- Be qualified to degree level in relevant field or equivalent professional qualifications and experience.
- Demonstrable understanding and ability to interpret, and put into practice a range of current issues, policy and legislation within employment advice and procurement.
- Experience of working in a multi-agency setting to address customer need.
- Experience of leading a team and/or project.
- Experience of overseeing or coordinating contracts and/or projects
