Who we're looking for

We're looking for someone to provide project management oversight on the Reporting change book of work for Reporting Services.

The role will be responsible for the delivery and implementation of change across our Global teams, working alongside Reporting Service business analysts in our Horsham and Singapore offices.

The role will work with the Head of Reporting Services to build out a framework that triages and prioritises change. Core project management activities will centre around planning delivery, engaging with technology, external vendors and key internal and external stakeholders.

We need someone who is delivery and solution focused and drives the best outcome for our clients. We expect the successful candidate to align to innovative solutions, be able to identify problems and work to resolve them end-to-end whilst engaging across the business to ensure alignment to strategic initiatives.

Additionally, you will be accountable for managing the change backlog and the communication of the backlog and the value of delivered projects to the business.

The base

You'll be based at our Schroders Campus near Horsham in West Sussex. That's our operations hub - home to our client servicing and product reporting for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Americas.

What you'll do

• Manage the ongoing book of change across Reporting Services, that includes changes requests from our key stakeholders as well as projects to increase efficiency within all Reporting teams.
• Prioritise Reporting change across the Global Reporting function
• Own Reporting change end to end, ensuring capacity and resource to support change and unblocking issues as appropriate.
• Produce and communicate MI to demonstrate progress and value of change to stakeholders.
• Work with BAU Reporting teams to manage the introduction of change from project to a BAU production environment.

Stakeholder management:

• Develop strong relationships with all key stakeholders, including, but not limited to; Client Group, Product, Risk and Compliance.
• Develop strong relationships with the BAU teams who form the reporting services function.

Process improvement and innovation:

• Help design and implement updates or enhancements to processes and systems.
• Maximise operational efficiency and timeliness to market whilst reducing risk through continuous improvement and new ways of working.
• Demonstrate an innovative mindset by generating ideas to leverage technology to improve processes and efficiencies.
• Considered approach of using technology to solve live issues.

Understand the strategy:

• Proactively drive the strategy vision within wider project teams and ensure project teams and BAU teams understand the vision and benefit of change.
• Lead Reporting projects and capture business benefit through change delivery.
• Work with a range of business areas to ensure delivery of change initiatives.
• Work with key stakeholders to ensure their requirements are understood and delivered as applicable.

Lead by example:

• Be a role model for the team in all activities. Employ best practice in all areas of change, including: prioritisation, collaboration, stakeholder management, ownership & accountability and innovation mindset.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

• Proven Change delivery experience, owning and managing end to end delivery, with demonstratable business value
Ability to build and prioritise change backlogs
• Experience of Agile change methodologies
• A team-player, with the ability to operate effectively in a collegiate, collaborative, high performance environment.
• Proactively contribute to the Global Reporting change roadmap, and the Hub Operational developments
• Well developed communications skills with an ability to communicate and present effectively at all levels of the organisation
• Solid experience of Microsoft applications, required within the role.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
• Knowledge of fund structures across a range of domiciles
• Experience of Reporting Operations within an Asset Management company
• Experience of implementing innovative tools, technology and working practices
• Understanding of the Digital Strategy across Reporting
