This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual who has recently graduated and wants to jump-start their marketing career, or who wishes to progress to the next level with a hands-on exciting and challenging role covering most aspects of business-to-business marketing whilst building your experience. You will work with the marketing director and other professionals to design, manage and execute digital and personal marketing campaigns to win new business for a leading fully accredited learning and development provider.

Established in 1989, Cherith Simmons Learning & Development designs and delivers leadership and management development across all sectors through directly and government funded accredited programmes. We work with blue chip private sector clients, and all the way across the health, public and voluntary sectors, not only in the UK, but worldwide via Distance Learning. The company has a record of solid results and innovation in delivering real change in organisations and individuals and is focussed on exciting expansion plans with world leading partners in education and development.

You will help us build the business by creating marketing campaigns, devising marketing materials, following up business enquiries and leads on the phone, assisting with writing proposals for new business, and if you are a confident communicator, helping us pitch for the business to prospective clients.

You will be joining a hardworking, professional, friendly, and diverse team that is one of the best in the business.

This is a **permanent, full-time role, working 38.75 hours per week.**

Our standard office opening hours are **Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 5.30pm**.

**Salary: £18,000-£23,052 per annum** ( depending on age and experience, in line with NMW/ NLW). Salaries are reviewed after 3 months and at yearly reviews.

The Job holder is required to:

- Devise and manage direct marketing activity across the organisation’s target sectors including social media and website updates working with the existing marketing team.
- Promote contact and manage relationships between the company, its potential and existing clients, programme participants and suppliers.
- Fulfil agreed sales and marketing targets.
- Manage a specified group of training programmes liaising with tutors, learners and clients and acting as the key point of contact for the programmes.
- Provide support to the Marketing Team, Partners, consultants, associates, and colleagues.
- Communicate progress, participate in company meetings, take minutes, and action objectives from meetings.
- Adhere to Company standards, policies, and procedures.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

- A degree (or equivalent) in Business management/ Marketing/ Advertising/ Sales OR relevant experience in a similar role.
- Excellent organisational & time management skills.
- The ability to work in a small team as well as on own initiative, in a fast-paced environment.
- Good customer service skills and the ability to develop good working relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with others at all levels.
- Experience of working in an office environment and dealing with customers and/or clients.
- The ability to travel to the office from a commutable distance and have the right to work in the UK.

The post will be office-based.
