Aberdein Considine are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and organised individual to join our busy HR department as an apprentice. This is an entry level role and will allow the apprentice the opportunity to gets hands on training and gain valuable practical experience whilst at the same time working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
**ROLE OF DEPARTMENT**
- To provide support and advice to the Partners and Managers on a range of HR issues.
- To act as arbitrator between employer and employee ensuring both are represented fairly and treated in line with current legislation.
- To provide guidance and support to employees in relation to benefits, recruitment and selection and employee relations.
**JOB PURPOSE**
- Provide assistance to HR Advisers / HR Director
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Action administration paperwork associated with new starts, transfers, promotions, maternity and terminations.
- Updating and maintaining the HR system
- Monitoring and maintaining the HR inbox and Recruitment inbox
- Processing sick absence and Domestic Emergency absence
- Process invoices and maintain expenditure information
- Print out ID Cards
- Post regular updates via Yammer
- Births, Birthdays, Deaths and Marriages; arrange card, vouchers and flowers where appropriate
**Requirements**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum of 5 standard grades or equivalent
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Good IT system skills including Microsoft Office programs
- Strong communication both written and verbal
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility and the willingness to learn
- Ability to deal sensitively and appropriately with confidential information
- Experience of prioritising workload and time management
**KNOWLEDGE**
- Knowledge of People Inc and self service HR Databases desirable, but not essential as training will be given
