**The Role**
Bilfinger UK is a leading engineering and maintenance provider with our Head Office being located in Warrington. Bilfinger UK are selectively expanding our portfolio within the Energy Transition sector with our goal being No.1 for customers in enhancing efficiency and sustainability. Through recent awards in H2, Waste to x among others, we are seeking to enhance our Project Team.
The Project Delivery Lead will be responsible for a project from inception to fruition; will lead on HSE, identification of new opportunities (Go-No-Go), Quality standards and customer satisfaction. Whilst the role will ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget. In addition, will take strategic direction from the relevant Executive Director whilst holding full accountability and responsibility for the safe delivery of the full life cycle of projects (CAPEX/OPEX) under your control. You will provide leadership and mentoring to direct reports and engineers in your delivery teams, share knowledge, best practice utilising previous experience/
You must be experienced in assessing tenders, working closely with internal and external stakeholders and be familiar with forms of contract such as NEC3/4 and IChemE. Experience with early works and interaction with design engineering and constructability is key.
**Key Activities**:
Manage appropriate resources to ensure:
- Safety of people and the environment is first and foremost in all we do
- Working with the design, construction & commercial teams to ensure opportunities are translated into coherent and competitive target cost submissions
- Key milestones are established and delivered to satisfy client & business requirements
- Scope, Time and Cost are appropriately considered, monitored and actions are taken to maintain expected outcomes
- Ensure resources and materials are suitable placed to meet and exceed customer expectations
- Delivery is to the highest standard and complies with appropriate regulations
- Contingencies are put in place to deal with changes and maintain customer satisfaction
- Operates with the governance and guidelines within the companies BMS
- Ownership of project review meetings with the team to ensure full project transparency and accurate dissemination of information (internal/external)
- Operates within the contract guidelines
Lead, support and develop the service by:
- Effectively placing resources to deliver business strategy objectives
- Providing clarity surrounding individual roles and responsibilities
- Providing opportunities for personal growth and development

- Stepping down in the role and helping the team deliver
- Understanding and translating to others the entire business service offering

Support a strategy to evolve the business by:
- Supports new business pursuits right through the Sales process in support of new business growth
- Analysing customer needs and delivering in line with the contract objectives and conditions
- Ensuring the you operate within the companies governance structure and guidelines at all times
- Translating knowledge and developing skill pool within the service provision
- Developing the service provision through close customer relationships
- Monitoring of performance and customer feedback and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Closing out Active actions and ensuring your team is doing the same
- Proactively leads effort to improves competitiveness through better technical and commercial offering for the clients
- Develop and Coaching of Talent within team
**Experience & Qualifications**:
- Experience of managing MEICA Projects under people, time and money constraints
- Experience of managing multi-disciplined Engineers and Project Managers
