As a Facilitates Maintenance Assistant, you will be part of a small team that focuses on servicing and maintaining the site to the highest standard and cost-effectively. Being on site daily, you will play a key role in maintaining a high-quality working environment at our Head Office in Snodland, Kent.

In this role, you’ll oversee minor repairs, coordinate contractor work, ensuring procurement and safety standards are met, and monitoring the quality, schedule, and cost of the work. You will also assist with security measures during the day at the Head Office.

Your tasks will involve planned and reactive maintenance activities, updating statutory records, conducting site inspections, and responding to any additional requests. You will also be responsible for organising and managing maintenance tasks and repairs using contractors, with a strong emphasis on contract management and health and safety.

**What will you be accountable for?**
- Oversee and maintain records for approved contractors (policies, industry trade body membership, insurance, RAMS).
- Undertake and co-ordinate a programme of routine maintenance activies (lift serviving, fire systems, legionella, air conditioning etc.)
- Plan and manage detailed and regular site inspections to monitor site condition
- Organising minor works contracts
- Contribute to excellent site and stakeholder management
- Ensure levels of service at Snodland are maintained against set SLA's.
- Supervise the work of contractors on site

**What do you bring to the role?**
- 2 years’ experience in a care taker position or similar facilities management position.
- WIAPS approved plumber with Level 2 C&G plumbing and/or electrical qualification.
- Hold EUSR Water Hygiene card.
- Ability to manage and oversee the work of contractors.
- Excellent Health and Safety management and understanding of health and safety regulations / CDM2015 management.
- NEBOSH qualification would be desirable.
- Excellent people and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work under pressure and to self-manage to meet deadline.
