As a Facilities Management Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining a high-quality working environment at our Head Office in Snodland, Kent.

You’ll help by organising minor repairs and maintenance, managing maintenance schedules, keeping records of contractors, processing invoices, maintaining statutory records, and responding to inquiries.

Excellent organising and attention to detail are important, and while previous experience is not required, a willingness to learn and contribute to the team is essential. In return, we are open to supporting you in gaining technical qualifications.

Your presence on-site during core office hours will ensure timely responses to any issues. If you are organised and dedicated to continuous improvement, this opportunity offers a promising career path in Facilities Management.

**What will you be accountable for?**
- Co-ordinating a programme of routine maintenance activities (lift servicing, fire systems, legionella, air conditioning etc.)
- Detailed and regular site inspections to monitor site condition
- Arranging ad hoc maintenance activities
- Raising purchase orders and processing invoics
- Maintaining and reviewing records for approved contractors (policies, industry trade body membership, insurance, RAMS)
- Maintaining statutory records (FEWT, PAT, Asbestos etc.)
- Responding to enquiries to the department mailbox
- Providing cover for the Facilities Manager

**What do you bring to the role?**
- Good administration and organisational skills.
- Able to respond positively to changing situations and environments.
- Ability to provide excellent service to internal customers and colleagues.
- You’re self-motivated, adaptable and willing to learn.
- Previous experience in facilities management would be useful but not essential.
