Transform Healthcare Limited are currently seeking a competent and experienced Porter/Theatre Stores assistant to provide support to the Theatre Department within our Pines Hospital located in South Manchester.

Ordering Theatre stock including implants, performing monthly stock take, maintaining stock levels in all areas of theatres and storeroom, accepting deliveries and ensuring the prompt and safe movement of stock within the Hospital.

The postholder will be required to work 20 hours per week.

**Accountabilities**
- Accepting deliveries and ensuring stock is stored correctly
- Monitoring stock levels, stock control and keeping storerooms clean and tidy
- To ensure safe delivery of supplies to departments
- Placing Purchase Orders with our suppliers
- Verify receipts and confirm purchase order delivery contents are correct
- Maintaining Theatre stores ordering records
- Ordering via supplier's portals
- Performing a monthly stocktake
- Resolving issues relating to stock deliveries with suppliers
- Dealing with Suppliers, Clinical team, Stock Controller, Accounts payable, Supplier representatives, Surgeons and Surgeons Assistants
- Dealing with Telephone enquiries
- Work closely with other departments
- To take responsibility for personal and professional development
- To be aware of national and local initiatives and issues that may impact on role domain
- To ensure through safe working conditions the health and safety and welfare of all staff, colleagues, patients and visitors, and to always comply with health and safety policies and procedures

Applicants must have computer skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Microsoft Teams, be reliable and conscientious, well organised and have the ability to prioritise. Good people skills, general fitness and safe ability for moving and handling of stock will be required.

A DBS Certificate at Enhanced Level will be applied for.
