Job Overview:

- This is a full-time office based position.
- Salary will be discussed at interview stage.
- We are looking for a skilled bookkeeper to join our team.
- Your job will include regular posting of information to accounting journals/software and reconciling accounts to ensure their accuracy.
- Understand ledgers.
- Basic payroll knowledge would be preferable.
- Work with an accountant when necessary.
- At least 2 years bookkeeping experience, preferably within a business-services environment.
- Experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks FreeAgent or Xero
- Excellent knowledge of general accounting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns for a wide range of sectors
- Ability to work to and meet monthly deadlines.
- Work in an ethical and professional manner
- IT literate - Competent user of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.

**Salary**: £17,124.81-£26,529.79 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
