We are working with a leading Food Manufacturer in Leeming Bar looking to add an experienced NPD Technologist to their Development team, creating new concepts for the industry and taking responsibility for several large branded accounts.

**Within the position you will be responsible for the following tasks**:

- Manufacture of concept samples
- Generation of new product ideas
- Create Concepts in the Kitchen and Pilot Plant
- Artwork approval
- Manage, attend and close out trials and pilot plant trials as required
- Ensure all samples sent are done so at minimum cost and arrive on time and in good condition
- Ensure Customer policies are updated and adhered to during product development
- Act as the key development contact point to the customer accounts
- Managing development projects from ideation through to industrialisation

**To be considered for the position you must meet some if not all of the following criteria**:

- Hold a degree in Food Science or a technical/quality-related discipline
- Have a genuine passion for the Food industry
- Hold a minimum of 2 years in an NPD-based role
- Be technically focused and highly motivated
- Be able to display excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
